  15. I just scored a genuine C= 1/4" tape drive the other day (as pillaged from
  16. a 3000 UX).  Now I can get it to work with "Quarterback", and the MAGTAPE
  17. command, but what I really want to do is mount it (well I *think* that's
  18. what I want to do) so I can write GNUTar tapes to shuffle data between my
  19. Amiga and Unix boxes (which are in different locations).

  21. Question is, what do I need to set it up?  I have GNUTar, and tried to
  22. guess a mountlist entry (to no avail).

  24. aka, all I want to be able to do is:

  26. tar cvf /dev/rst4 /foo/*

  28. and tvf, xvf etc.
