- I just scored a genuine C= 1/4" tape drive the other day (as pillaged from
- a 3000 UX). Now I can get it to work with "Quarterback", and the MAGTAPE
- command, but what I really want to do is mount it (well I *think* that's
- what I want to do) so I can write GNUTar tapes to shuffle data between my
- Amiga and Unix boxes (which are in different locations).
-
- Question is, what do I need to set it up? I have GNUTar, and tried to
- guess a mountlist entry (to no avail).
-
- aka, all I want to be able to do is:
-
- tar cvf /dev/rst4 /foo/*
-
- and tvf, xvf etc.
